Questions about plans
Will my free codes ever stop working?
No. Codes you make on Free keep working — no scan limits, no expiry date, no ads. And if you ever leave Pro or Max, every code and contact you set up keeps working; you just can’t add more than the Free limits.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep your plan to the end of the period you paid for. After that you are on Free: every code and alert contact you set up keeps working, and you can edit them. You just can’t add more than the Free limits.
What’s SMS backup?
Alerts go to the iQR Alerts app on your phone first. If a push alert can’t reach the app (no app, phone off, notifications off), we send a text message to your alert contacts instead. Each plan includes a number of these backup texts per calendar month.
What counts as an alert contact?
A person, besides you, who gets alerted when someone scans one of your codes — a family member, a co-worker, a neighbour. They count once across your whole account, however many codes alert them. Free includes 2.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly, or between Pro and Max?
Yes, any time, from Billing in your dashboard. Yearly costs the same as 10 months — 2 months free.
Do you offer refunds?
Cancel any time; you keep your plan to the end of the period you paid for. We don’t give partial refunds unless the law requires it.
Which currency will I pay in?
Canadian dollars in Canada, US dollars everywhere else — you can switch the prices shown on this page. Applicable sales taxes are added at checkout.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
