iQR Partner Program Agreement
Version 2026-10-20 · Last updated: October 20, 2026
The short version
- Share your link. Anyone who signs up within 90 days of clicking it is someone you invited.
- You earn 25% of everything they pay iQR (minus sales tax) for their first 12 months.
- Each commission waits 30 days for refunds, then it's ready. We pay monthly on the 15th once you have CA$50 (payouts go to Canada and the US for now; elsewhere you keep earning).
- No self-referrals, no spam, no tricks. The full terms below are what count.
Who we are and what this is
This Partner Program Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Ikasud Media Inc., a British Columbia company that runs iQR at iqr.to ("iQR", "we", "us"). It explains how you earn money when people you invite become iQR customers.
Every iQR account is a partner. When you create an iQR account you accept this Agreement together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you made your account before this Agreement existed, you accept it the first time you open your partner page, and you must accept it before you can set up payouts.
Your partner link
You get your own partner link (it looks like
https://iqr.to/p/abc12345). Share it wherever you like, within the rules in section 9.When someone clicks your link and creates a new iQR account within 90 days, they become a customer you referred. If they click more than one partner link, the last link they clicked before signing up counts.
Who referred a customer is decided once, when their account is created, and never changes after that. People who already had an iQR account before clicking your link cannot be referred.
What you earn
You earn 25% of every payment a customer you referred makes to iQR during their first 12 months, counted from the day they signed up. Every kind of payment counts: subscriptions, wallet top-ups, sticker and print orders, and anything else they buy from iQR.
The 25% is worked out on the amount paid minus any sales tax on it (GST, HST, PST, VAT and similar), because that tax is not our money. Nothing else is taken off.
If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed (see section 5).
Currency
Each commission is worked out in the currency the customer paid. When it is approved, it is converted to Canadian dollars at Stripe's exchange rate on that day. Your balance is kept in Canadian dollars (CAD) and we send payouts in CAD. If your payout account is in the United States, Stripe converts the payout and you receive US dollars (USD) at Stripe's rate on the day it is paid.
Pending, approved and reversed commissions
Each new commission is pending for 30 days (our refund window). After that it is approved and ready to be paid.
If the payment is refunded or charged back while the commission is pending, the commission is cancelled. If that happens after it was approved or paid, the same amount is taken off your next balance. Your balance can go below zero this way; we never ask you to pay it back from your own money, it is simply settled against future commissions.
Getting paid
We pay once a month, on the 15th, when your approved balance is CA$50 or more. A smaller balance rolls over to the next month.
Payouts are sent through Stripe Connect. To get paid you set up a Stripe account from your partner page; Stripe collects your identity, bank and tax details directly, and we never see or store them. Every payout is checked by a person at iQR before it is sent.
For now, payouts are available to partners in Canada and the United States. Partners elsewhere keep earning: their commissions add up as usual and are paid once payouts open in their country. We will tell you by e-mail when that happens.
We may hold a payout while we review unusual activity on your account (see section 10).
Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. If you are registered for GST/HST, add your registration number when you set up payouts. If you are paid in the United States, Stripe collects your tax information and issues your Form 1099 where the law requires it.
What we track
To credit you correctly and to stop abuse, we record clicks on partner links and the sign-ups and payments that come from them. We store a scrambled (hashed) form of the device and network details of a click, never the raw values. Your partner page shows you totals and anonymous activity; it never shows you the name, e-mail or anything else personal about the people you referred.
Rules
You may not:
- refer yourself, your other accounts or people in your household, or buy through your own link;
- set our referral cookie without a real click (cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden frames or pop-ups);
- use browser extensions, toolbars or software that insert or replace links;
- bid on "iQR", "iqr.to" or similar brand keywords in paid search ads;
- send spam — follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), the US CAN-SPAM Act and similar laws;
- make false or misleading claims about iQR, or pretend to be iQR;
- post your link on coupon or deal sites in a way that replaces another person's link.
Reviews and breaking the rules
Some activity is flagged automatically for a person to look at, for example a referred account that looks like your own, or an unusual number of sign-ups in a day. Commissions on a flagged referral wait until the review is done.
If you break these rules, we may cancel the commissions involved and remove your account from the Partner Program. Unpaid balances are forfeited only when an account is removed for abuse.
Changes to this Agreement
We may change the commission rate or other terms. We will e-mail you at least 30 days before a change takes effect. Commissions you have already earned keep the rate they were earned at.
Leaving
You can stop sharing your link at any time. If you close your iQR account, approved commissions of CA$50 or more are paid in the next payout once your payout account is set up.
General
You are an independent partner, not an employee or agent of iQR, and you may not make promises on our behalf. Our Terms of Service also apply, including their limits on liability. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
