Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the iQR Platform ("Service") operated by Ikasud Media Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Every iQR account is also a partner in the iQR Partner Program, which lets you earn from people you invite. The Partner Program Agreement is part of these terms.

2. Description of Service

iQR Platform provides QR code generation and tracking services for personal items including but not limited to pets, luggage, and medical information. The Service enables users to create QR codes that, when scanned, allow communication between the finder and the item owner.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
• Send or record objectionable content, or harass, threaten or defraud another user (see section 5)

5. Objectionable Content and Abuse — Zero Tolerance

iQR chats, calls and call messages connect people who do not know each other. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not send or record content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, fraudulent (including scams and extortion over a found item), spam, or that exposes someone's private information.

• Report: in the iQR Alerts app, open the chat and choose Report, or email support@iqr.to.
• Filtering: chat messages are automatically filtered, and objectionable language is masked before anyone sees it.
• Block: either side of a chat can block the other at any time; a blocked person cannot message or call you about that item again.
• Our response: we review every report within 24 hours. We remove the offending content, block the device or account involved, close the chat, and remove users who break these terms, and we cooperate with law enforcement where required.

6. The iQR Alerts App

iQR Alerts is provided free of charge for use with your iQR account. It sells nothing: iQR stickers and account credit are bought on iqr.to. Calls and call messages in the app are provided to help return lost items; do not use them for any other purpose. Call messages are deleted automatically after 30 days unless the owner saves them. iQR Alerts is not a telephone service and cannot be used to call emergency services. Your use of the app downloaded from the Apple App Store is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and from Google Play to Google Play's Terms of Service; these terms prevail where they differ, to the extent allowed. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or at iqr.to/account/delete.

7. iQR Codes for Canva

These terms also apply to iQR Codes, our app inside the Canva editor, and to Design in Canva on iqr.to. iQR Codes works with Canva, but Canva does not make, endorse or support it, and Canva is not responsible for it. Your use of Canva itself is governed by Canva's terms.

• Your account: opening the app creates an iQR account tied to your Canva account and Canva team. You are responsible for what is done with it, as with any iQR account (section 3).
• Age: you must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to use the app.
• Price: the app is free. We may set reasonable limits on how many codes can be made in a period of time, to prevent abuse. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you before they apply to you.
• Your codes and content: codes made in the app are iQR codes and follow sections 4 and 5. We may pause or disable a code that breaks them, including one that is already printed. You keep all rights to your designs and to what your codes open; you allow us to host that content and show it to people who scan your codes.
• Keeping your codes: removing iQR Codes from your Canva apps does not delete your codes, and they keep working. You can delete a code, or your whole account, on iqr.to at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
• Printing: check that a code scans before you print many copies. We are not responsible for printing costs caused by a code that was printed too small, with too little contrast, or pointing to the wrong place.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ikasud Media Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

iQR® is a registered trademark of Ikasud Media Inc. in Canada (CIPO registration no. TMA1217502). Other product names and marks mentioned on the Service belong to their respective owners.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Ikasud Media Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
